MaxSolar at the Climate Neutral Municipalities Congress in Freiburg

Last week, from February 29 to March 1, the 13th Climate Neutral Municipalities Congress took place in Freiburg, which focused on answering pressing questions about sustainable energy supply: How can municipalities implement renewable energy projects quickly and efficiently? How can we achieve a renewable, decentralized and efficient heat supply? What role does sustainable mobility play?

Our local team addressed these issues and presented solutions for a sustainable energy supply. Elke Hanel presented the Bundorf innovation project under the title "Only together can the energy transition succeed: Citizen participation and institutional investors go hand in hand in the implementation of renewable energies", The innovation project Bundorf  is an outstanding example of how the municipal energy transition can be successfully implemented in practice. Afterwards, questions about the construction of the solar park, biodiversity in the solar park, financing, citizen participation and citizen communication before and during the project were asked, discussed and exchanged in an interview format. Further details on the Bundorf project can be found here.

The congress format enabled an intensive exchange between the speakers, participants and exhibitors, which we were particularly pleased about as a #platinum sponsor. A big thank you goes to the Conexio-PSE team for the excellent organization. We look forward to next year!
