Webinar with maxsolar and PV-Magazine:

27 hybrid photovoltaic power plants with battery storage were successful in the innovation tenders in September. Operators benefit from various innovations, such as a fixed instead of a sliding market premium and the possibility to market the electricity as a PPA. At the same time, however, they have to fulfil certain conditions and the remuneration is regulated somewhat differently.
Christian Mayr, Sales Management, and Philipp Ruf, Key Account Manager, report on the Reckertshausen project, which was successful in the innovation tenders and is now being built. The project has been awarded at five megawatts, which is divided into a 3.5 megawatt photovoltaic system and a 1.5 megawatt storage system. Maxsolar is building the plant as general contractor. The experts discuss the economic expectation and ideas on how the storage facility can generate additional money in connection with PPAs on the electricity market.
