Grid connection for PV ground-mounted system with 2.24 MW
Former gravel pit produces electricity
Around 5000 modules were installed for this ground-mounted photovoltaic system in Grabenstätt. The plant has a total output of 2.24 MW. Part of the system (749.89 kWp) is remunerated per the EEG, the other (1493.37 kWp) was part of a tender. The ground-mounted photovoltaic plant covers an area of around 30,000 square metres of a former gravel pit. It is also located below a 20 and 110kV line belonging to the Bayernwerk power company. The 3 metre clearance between rows offers nature space for biodiversity. In order to avoid adverse effects on the landscape, the plant will be surrounded by greenery.
