Start of construction for Dachau's largest PV project with Hubert Aiwanger
Pile driving with ministerial support

Bavaria's Deputy Minister President and Minister of Economic Affairs, Hubert Aiwanger, lent a hand in person and carried out the first pile driving for the module substructure on the Kiemertshofen project site. MaxSolar is building two photovoltaic plants as EPC for Altoland Solar GmbH & Co. KG. The plant in Kiemertshofen near Altomünster and in Pfaffenhofen. Both in the district of Dachau. A total of 33,330 modules will be installed on an area of 23 hectares. "The project is thus the largest in the district of Dachau ", Mayor Michael Reiter pointed out in his welcoming remarks. In purely mathematical terms, the regionally produced electricity can supply around 9,000 households. Another important step towards climate neutrality.
"As a service provider, we always cater specifically to the needs of our partners. My team and I appreciate the cooperation at eye level with Mr. Reinhard Schmutz and Hans Schweiger of Altoland Solar GmbH & Co. KG, " notes David Butz authorized signatory and Chief Operating Officer at MaxSolar.
Reinhard Schmutz emphasized in his speech the excellent cooperation with MaxSolar: "You are a very fair, good and important partner in the realization of our projects. Thank you very much for that!"
Solar parks will play an important and significant role in the expansion of renewable energy in this decade. One of the central questions of the energy transition is thus how the expansion of ground-mounted PV systems can have the most positive impact possible on environmental protection and nature conservation, agriculture and regional value creation.
The Bundesverband Neue Energiewirtschaft e.V. responds to these important questions with the voluntary commitment "Good Planning". The signatory companies and the bne want to show that the solar industry is aware of its responsibility for acceptance-supported expansion - and is actively tackling the assumption of this responsibility. The goal of "Good Planning" is to make best practice the standard in the planning, approval, construction and operation of solar parks.
MaxSolar was one of the first companies to sign this voluntary commitment and is implementing the standards as best practice.
After completion in summer, sheep will take over the green maintenance on the plant in Kiemertshofen. The area between the rows of modules is home to protected birds and more than 3,700 plants thrive there.
Aiwanger also praised this "gain in ecology", e.g. through sheep grazing or even possible agricultural use at AGRI-PV, as an added value of ground-mounted solar parks.
