Another solar carport realised for EGIS eG
Plant officially handed over to operator
Another project for EGIS eG has officially gone into operation in Neuötting: The solar carport with 18 covered parking spaces in Simbacher Straße in Neuötting. The electricity for the 4 charging points is produced by PV modules on the roof of the carport. The plant generates around 52,000 kilowatt hours of electricity annually. The surplus is fed into the public grid. In this way, the city of Neuötting improves its ecological footprint and saves a total of 25,000 kilos of CO2 every year.
"With this station, we are moving forward for the future," emphasised Christoph Strasser at the press event on the occasion of the official handover with representatives of EGIS eG and the city administration.
